Jakubiec, Jerome Paul age 72, of St. Michael, passed away at his home, peacefully in his family's arms on Monday, December 5, 2016. He was born on February 15, 1944 in Minneapolis, the son of John and Constance (Berg) Jakubiec. Jerry is a 1962 graduate from Elk River High School. He served in the US Navy Heavy Photograph Squadron in Jacksonville, Florida. On June 7, 1980, Jerome Jakubiec and Pamela Lewandowski were united in marriage. Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Constance Jakubiec; twin baby boys; son, Benjamin Lee Jakubiec; and brothers-in-law, Keith Pajari and Dan Elmer. Survived by his wife, Pamela Jakubiec; children, Chris (Dawn) Jakubiec, Stephanie (Scott) Ostlie, Terry (Angie) Jakubiec, Brooke (Chad) Gerth; grandchildren, Jacob, Elizabeth, Lincoln, Kennedy, Jena, Brady, Gracen, Macy, Austin, April, Chandler; siblings, David (Vicky) Jakubiec, Dolores Pajari, Janet (Harlan) Zachman, Donald (Carol) Jakubiec, Mary Elmer, Margaret (Don) Schultz, Douglas (Jana) Jakubiec; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
