Betty Joanne Covington

Covington, Betty Joanne age 85, of Bloomington, MN passed away on November 27, 2016. Betty was born to the late Richard and Clara Simmons on July 25, 1931in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The oldest of six children, she lived in Pittsburgh until she married William Covington on February 19, 1955. She is predeceased by her parents Richard and Clara Simmons of Pittsburgh, PA; her husband William Covington; her brother Richard Simmons; and her sister Clara Turner. She is survived by seven children, William, Jerome, Albert, Raymond, Donna, Marianne and Betty; three brothers Robert, Randy and Ronald; 16 grand and great-grand children. Wake will be held at Estes Funeral Chapel on December 8th from 5-7 pm. Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at Ft. Snelling Memorial Chapel on December 9th at 10 am and 11 am, respectively.
