Peter, Darrell K. age 75, of Eagan, formerly of Burnsville, passed away on December 5, 2016 after a 10 year struggle with Parkinson's. Darrell was an engineer for Seagate where he retired from after 35+ years. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved spending time at his cabin on Fish Trap Lake. Darrell was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Pat Peter (nee: Reiter). He is survived by his sons, Todd (Gayle), Rick, and Joe (Shari) Peter; He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, Madison, Michon, McKenna, Mitchell, Rachel, Daniel, Evelyn, and Megan; siblings, JoAnne (Bill) Bartz, Barb (Cam) Pinnow, and Bruce (Vickie) Peter; also by nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Monday, December 19, 2016 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4030 Pilot Knob Rd., Eagan with a gathering of family and friends on Sunday (12/18) from 4-7 PM at the White Funeral Home, 12804 Nicollet Ave S., Burnsville (952-894-5080) and 1 hr. prior to Mass at church.
