Goshko, Linda Levitt age 78, died November 13 at her home in Chevy Chase, Maryland. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Goshko, and her parents, Jean and Matthew J. Levitt of St. Louis Park. She is survived by her children Anthony, Matthew (Susannah), Jean and Gigi, three grandchildren, her sister Deborah Shaffer of Minnetonka, her brother Matthew L. Levitt (Sharon) of Excelsior and her nieces and nephews. Linda graduated from St. Louis Park High School in 1956. She received a BA from Carlton College in 1960 and later received a BS degree in Education from the University of Minnesota. Linda and her family lived in South America and Europe where her husband was a foreign correspondent for the Washington Post. She returned to the U.S. in 1975 and taught science in schools in Maryland and New York. She was recognized as a dedicated teacher, and is remembered for her thoughtfulness and commitment to others. A celebration of her life was held December 3 in Washington, DC.
