Anderson, Dorothy G. (nee Reine) of St. Louis Park, formerly of Hopkins. Born in Erdahl, MN on 8/27/1924, passed into the arms of her Savior, Lord Jesus, early Tuesday morning 11/29/2016 in St. Paul, MN. A loving wife, mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. Charter member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church of Edina. Married to Walter Anderson for 62 years who preceded her into Heaven. The two designed and built their special retreat, along with plenty of help from their children on Lake Butterfield in Crow Wing County. They enjoyed many special times at "the cabin" with family and friends. Dorothy is survived by her children; daughter, Mary (Jim) Stahlmann; sons, Paul and Keith (Tracey) Anderson; grandchildren, Joe (Michelle), Jack (Brianna) Stahlmann, Cullen Anderson and Julie Anderson; also survived by her precious great-grandchildren, Emma, Tessa, Maeve and Brooklyn Stahlmann; her brother, Jim (Doris) Reine; and brother-in-law, Donald (Esther) Anderson; and many special friends from Park Valley in Hopkins and Aquilla Commons in St. Louis Park. Memorials preferred to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Services Saturday, Dec. 3 at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 500 Blake Road, Edina, with visitation one hour before service. A special thank you to all hospice staffs from Methodist Hospital, N.C. Little and Highland Chateau. Burial at a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
