Wallace Sherard

Sherard, Wallace age 95, of Richfield, passed away peacefully Oct. 20, 2016. He was born in Falls Creek, WI, grew up in Mpls., graduating from North High School and Dunwoody Institute. Preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Gertrude. Survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary, and her daughters, Linda (Gaylon) and Sandra (Alan) and their grandchildren, Erik, Colin (Jackie), Amy, Heidi (Jake) and Tyler; and many nieces & nephews. Wallace enlisted in the Navy and served in England and Scotland during WWII. He worked as an estimator for over 42 years for John A. Dalsin Roofing Company. In 1983, he received the James McCauley Award for outstanding service by the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association. Wallace was an active member of several churches, most recently Grace Church of Eden Prairie. Memorials preferred to Grace Church of Eden Prairie, University of Northwestern - St Paul or Camp Nathanael. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
