Edward E. Lipscomb

Lipscomb, Edward E. 65, of Lakeville, MN, passed on October 16th, 2016. Ed was born in Benham, Kentucky, and is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 46 years, Cathie Lipscomb, and their son, Sean Lipscomb. Ed was an internationally renowned innovator and inventor in the field of automotive diagnostics, with over 20 patents for breakthrough products and features. He was instrumental in the development of the first large, full-screen automotive diagnostic scan tool, and the first wireless-to-car scan tool. Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling the world, and going on trips across the country on his motorcycle. Services will be held at White Funeral Home, 14560 Pennock Ave. in Apple Valley on Monday, October 24th, with visitation at 4:00 PM, and the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
