Yoch, Frances Ann Feb. 20, 1942 - October 14, 2016 A list of titles and positions does not even begin to define the life of Frances Ann Yoch, who passed away on Friday, October 14, with her loving family nearby. Fran was the adoring and dedicated wife to Ted Yoch for more than 52 years; the loving and wonderful mother to Stephen, Gregory and Barbara Yoch; and "Nana" to Ryan, Benjamin and Katelyn Yoch. Fran's life was marked with many accomplishments. She and Ted co-founded ARAnet, Inc. (Brandpoint.com), which just celebrated its 20th year anniversary. Serving as Vice President, Fran was viewed by all as the heart of the company. Prior to ARAnet, she was the Sales Manager at Minnesota Diversified Industries. Fran's volunteer leadership positions included: four years as President of the Children's Home Society, President of the St. Paul Junior League, member of the Board of Directors of WAMSO, 14 years as a leader and member of the Board of Midwest Special Services, and she was deacon and then a past member of the Colonial Church Council. What truly marked Fran's life was her ability to connect with everyone. If she spent five minutes with you, she would learn the things that really mattered to you. From her beloved cribbage group of more than 25 years to her Colonial Church community, her co-workers, her Mayo Clinic medical team, her brothers and sister Joan, nieces, nephews, her daughters-in-law Andrea and Ahroon, and many friends, Fran always cared deeply about every aspect of everyone else's life. She was quick to laugh and smile or make a ridiculous $1 bet, and she always had a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies (no chips for Ted). Fran would play any game at any time. She touched everyone that came through her life and will be greatly missed by her loving family and all of their friends. A celebration will be held at Colonial Church in Edina on Saturday, October 29th with visitation starting at 9:30 followed by a Celebration of Fran's Life at 10 and lunch immediately after the service at Colonial. In lieu of flowers, Fran requested donations be made to either: Att: Lyth Harz, Midwest Special Services, 900 Ocean Street, St. Paul MN 55106, which helps her wonderful daughter Barbie and other developmentally disabled individuals; or Mayo Clinic for Liver Research, 200 First Street SW Rochester, MN 55905 for helping Fran and others live a full life. Please indicate on your checks that the gift is in memory of Fran Yoch.
