Allstopp, Thomas L. age 89, of Burnsville and Spitzer Lake, Otter Tail County, died Oct. 12, 2016. Preceded in death by wife Beverly and son Alan. Survived by brother Robert Allstop (Marilyn); daughter Suzanne Allstopp; son-in-law Jim McMahon; foster son Chris Marshall and grandsons Eric and Dorian McMahon. Born July 15, 1927 in Mpls to Julia & Geoffrey Allstop. Tom served in WWII in the Pacific aboard USS Haas DE-424. He met and married Beverly Lyttle in 1947. Together, Tom and Bev built Clinton Press Printing Co. in Richfield and operated a thriving business for 40 years. Tom and Bev cherished their many loved ones. Over the years, men and women enjoyed sporting activities at the Spitzer Lake cabins, and many children learned to love hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Friends & family are invited to gather for a light dinner & fellowship at Discovery Bay Aquarium at the Minnesota Zoo, Apple Valley at 5:30 Saturday evening, October 22. An Honor Guard Service at Lakeville Grove Cemetery in Lakeville will be held at 12 noon on Sunday, Oct. 23. Flowers and memorials in c/o Suzanne Allstopp, 201 Judd St., Marine on St. Croix, MN.
