Cotton, Richard M."Dick" 86 of Summerville, SC, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mary Ann, son Mark (Karen) Schultz of North Charleston, SC, son Brian Schultz of Maple Grove, MN, son Eric (Klaudia) Schultz of Zambia, Africa, daughter Jill Cotton of Lake Elmo, MN, son Neil Cotton of Minneapolis, MN, son David (Pam) Schultz of Prescott, WI, daughter Teresa Schultz Christner of Shakopee, MN, and son Greg (Heidi) Schultz of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by his sister Betty Jean Cotton Smith of Indianapolis, IN. Dick is survived by 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Dick founded and developed the RM Cotton Company and spent many years there. He enjoyed singing at Nye's Piano Bar. Dick also enjoyed poker, dominos, bowling, softball and golf. He and Mary Ann have spent the last few years in Summerville, SC.
