Alice Elvina '(Skime)' Vagle

Vagle (Skime), Alice Elvina on Sept. 26, 2016, one day after celebrating her upcoming 90th birthday with 130 family members and friends, Alice Elvina Skime Vagle, from Otsego, MN joined her husband of 69 years in Heaven. Alice was born Oct. 8, 1926 to Andrew and Emma Skime in Roseau County. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; her parents; grandson, Ryan; son-in-law, Todd Besser; and 3 siblings, Harold, Albin and Frances. She is survived by her 5 children, Michael (Gwen), Valerie (Charles), Marsha (Everett), Richard (Joyce) and Gwen; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her 100 year old brother, Clifford Skime in Roseau, MN; and several nieces and nephews. Alice will be greatly missed by her dear friends in Sun City, AZ where she has wintered for many years and her grief share group at Grace Bible Church where she worshiped. Her family will miss her famous pancakes and lemon pies, but will long remember her freely given words of wisdom and advice. Memorial service Sunday 10/2/16 at 2:00 PM at Victory Life Church, 13720 Lincoln St. NE, in Ham Lake. Reception with family and friends will follow the service.
