Kirby, Irene Beatrice age 93, of East Bethel, Minnesota, formerly of Northeast Minneapolis, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hegge and Amanda Engebretson; husband, Harry Kirby; son, Alan Kirby; step-daughter, Mary Lou Kirby; siblings, Alwood, Elvina, Dorothy. She is survived by daughter, LeighAnn (Andy) Zinken; daughter-in-law, Zandra Kirby; step-son, Donald Kirby; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Babinski; nieces, nephews, other special relatives and friends. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 11:00 am - 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.
