Ramaley, Howie 48, of Maple Grove, had his life stolen by cancer on September 23, 2016. His monster was named Osteosar-coma and it was an aggressive and painful beast. He was welcomed into Heaven by his father, both sets of grandparents, and two uncles. Remaining earthbound will be his beloved wife, dawn; cherished son, Howie; mother, Mary ("Kelly"); siblings, Dave (Amy) and Christy; parents-in-law Joe & Kathy; siblings-in-law, Chris and Beth; nephews, Merrick and Nick; nieces, Sydney and Thea; godmother, Kathy, and his extensive network of family and friends. He was affectionately known by many names and for many abilities including building giant "Howie Fires" at the campground. He was always first to lend a hand to anyone and was consistently requested to make his famous chocolate chip cookies or Bailey's cake. His passion was fishing, with Salmon fishing in Alaska a favorite experience. He was the Go To Guy for just about anything which made him the man of everyone's dreams with both men and women wanting to marry him. He went through life with ease making even difficult tasks seem effortless including taking on cancer. Above all, his greatest joy was taking care of his family and being a superb dad to his namesake son. He was a very loving and compassionate man who will be greatly missed. Please join his family in celebrating his life on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. Bring a photo or tell a story if you are able. Funeral service 6 pm at Evans Nordby Funeral Home, 34 Second St. NE, Osseo, with visitation starting at 4 pm at the Funeral Home. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers. Appetizers and a toast to Howie will follow at Axel's Tavern 130 Railway St W, Loretto. Evans Nordby 763.424.4000 evansnordby.com
