Darvial, Irene Wonser Born July 10, 1922 in Baudette, MN and died September 14, 2016 at McKenna Crossing Arbor, of pneumonia. She was a quiet, gentle, sweet person with artistic and creative talents. She graduated from Mountain Iron High School in Virginia, MN, where she was the class artist. She swam, went skiing and ice skating in the school's well-endowed programs. She raised seven children and a husband in Amery, WI. She oil painted, did ceramics and macramé, as well as knitting and crocheting. She was a good mother. She allowed us to be free to find adventure outdoors, as well as teaching us to learn to love reading and finding literary adventures. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her parents, Elsie and George Wonser of Robbinsdale, MN; her sister, Virginia; her son, George and grandson, Patrick Darvial. She is survived by her sisters: Lois Marsicano, Elaine Boyles and Phyllis Gifford. She is also survived by her children: Arlo Marie Darvial, Judy (Gene) Syverson, Dawn (Mark) Troutman, Bruce (Charmain) Darvial, Len Darvial and T. Lee (Linda) Darvial and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered always and will forever be in our hearts. She was well cared for by the staff of McKenna Crossing Arbor Memory Care and the Optage Hospice nurses who cared for her during her illness. Thank you to all for their kindness. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Bratley Funeral Home, 15571 W. County Hwy. B, Hayward, WI 54843. Visitation one hour prior to service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to charity of donor's choice. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Hayward, WI.
