Steven C. Moon

Moon, Steven C. age 66, resident of Lilydale. Born Dec. 30, 1949, and died suddenly Sept. 21, 2016. Steve was a state administrative law judge for 26 years and a longtime bass player with Cyril Paul and the Calypso Monarchs, The Rhythm Pups and the Contemporary Group at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Survived by mother, Verna; brothers, David, John (Tonya), Gregory and Dean; nieces Jennifer (John Zeuli) and Sarah; nephews Jeffrey and Jason; great-nephew Connor Zeuli and great-niece Kjerstin Zeuli. Steve was preceded in death by father H.H. "Brick" Moon and son, Joshua. Visitation Monday, Sept.26, from 5:00 -8:00 pm at Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave., Richfield. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 6730 Nicollet Ave., Richfield. Luncheon to follow in the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, 753 Front Ave., St. Paul.
