Gundermann, Rev. Vernon Dale age 78 (10/8/1937 - 9/16/1916) went to be with his Savior Jesus on Friday, September 16. Vernon was a loving husband of 55 years to his wife Betty, a proud father to Peter Gundermann, Mary (Michael) Williams, Sarah (Michael) McCarthy, and Thomas (Amy) Gundermann. He was a loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren. Vernon served as a faithful pastor for his entire career in congre-gations in Arcadia, IA, Madison, WI, New Hope, MN, and Kirkwood, MO. After retiring from parish ministry Vern served as chaplain at the International Center of the LCMS and at Lutheran Senior Services of Saint Louis. Services are Tuesday, September 27, 1:30 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fulda, MN with a visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. There is also a service Sunday, September 25, 4 pm at Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood, MO, with visitation beginning at 1 pm. Memorials to Concordia Lutheran Church, Concordia University, Saint Paul, MN and Lutheran Senior Services of Saint Louis.
