Delores "Dee" Edna Sorenson was born March 25, 1930 in Clear Brook, Minnesota to Marvin and Edna (Albrecht) Sorenson. She attended Woodland grade school in Solway, Minnesota. On September 4, 1954, Delores was united in marriage to Robert Oliver Kreft at the Hopkins Baptist Church. This union blessed the couple with four children whom together they raised in Hopkins, and eventually Golden Valley. Delores cleaned houses around the metro area for many years, and later worked for Bath and Body Works in Plymouth. In life, Delores had a variety of passions including gardening and sewing, but her love of baking was by far her favorite. Her cinnamon rolls, cookies, breads, and buns will be remembered by all who had the privilege of tasting. Delores also had a love of the outdoors, especially watching cardinals. What Delores loved most in life was spending time with her family. A second mother to many, she was always there for anyone who was in need. She will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her. mvfh.org
