Finneman, Gloria Cleora of Brooklyn Center, MN. Passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on July 26, 2016, after a courageous struggle with cancer. She was born on a farm near Litchfield, MN on May 30, 1934, to Ernest and Cleora (Burlingame) Johnson. She had 10 siblings and many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly. Throughout her long life, she met many friends, co-workers, neighbors, and acquaintances who enriched her life and theirs with great conversation and companionship. She was a lover of reading, history, politics, gardening, travel, and had a captivating sense of humor. After her retirement she devoted herself to volunteering in any capacity she could. Her most fond endeavor was being a role model and "gramma Gloria" to all the children in Jaye's daycare over the years. Those left here to honor her life and her love are husband, Ambrose, of 63 years; three children, Roxane Babcock, David (Jaye) Finneman, and Patti (David) Magill; four grandchildren, Justin Babcock, Jeremy (Lindsay) Finneman, Amanda Finneman, fiancé Jon Cameron, Lindsey (Eric) Feld; four great grandchildren, Jackson and Jane Richardson, Whitney and Tyler Finneman. A heartfelt thank you from Gloria and her family to the Fairview hospice care team, including Denise (RN) and Naomi (social worker). A family Memorial Service will be planned at a later date.
