Christenson, Joann M. age 79, of St. Anthony. Preceded in death by husband, George; son, Shaun; daughter, Joni; and grandson, Ben. Survived by children, Brent (Terry), Amy Kelly, Beth McDaniel, Kevin (Colleen); grandchildren, Aaron (Nicole), Brianna (Nick) and Alissa (Dan); Zach (Ashley), Cassandra, Myah, Ashley (Trevor), Jamie (Josh), Shaun, Ryan, Chelsea, Abby (Jarrod), Adam, Charlie, Christopher (Michelle), Kiley (Isaac), Connor and Cole; great-grandchildren, Hazel, Hope, Haddie, Brylan, Aldan, Eli and Leo; brother, Larry Miller; son-in-law, Chuck D'Mochowski and his children, Nate (Terri), Jake, Chris (Kylene); other relatives and many friends. Joann was on the original Board of Directors of the Oak Street Ronald McDonald House. Longtime member of PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) and numerous volunteer organizations. She was an elementary teacher, a registered nurse and world traveler. Her greatest passion was spending time at the Kaposia Farmhouse with her family. Memorials are preferred to the Ronald McDonald House Joann Christenson Endowment Fund or ProLife Across America. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Aug. 2, 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, 2420 St. Anthony Pkwy & Stinson Blvd. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
