Lacher, Peter P. age 83, of St. Louis Park, passed away July 22, 2016. A life member of Hopkins VFW Post 425, he was also a member of the St. Louis Park American Legion Post 252, the Independent Order of Foresters and the Church of the Good Shepherd, Golden Valley. Papa Pete was very active with the I.U.E. He was preceded in death by daughter, Mary; parents, Philip and Kathrine; two brothers and four sisters. Papa Pete will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Lorraine; children, Steve (Deb), Pat and Jeanie (Andy); grandchildren, Brad (Amanda), Joe (Cindy), Sierra and Tyler; "inherited" daughter, Lisa and granddaughter, Michaela; great grandchildren, Joanna, Hartley and Ava Lorraine; sister, Lena (Gene) Goldade; sister-in-law, Joneil Oberlander; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, July 30 at Gethsemane Cemetery, 8151 42nd Ave N. (@ Winnetka Ave), New Hope. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
