Bach, Harriette Helen Huettl Born in 1925 in Mankato, MN. Preceded in death by husband, Robert E. Bach, parents Edward and Zita Huettl, brother Larry Huettl. Survived by children Carole Arends (Stephen), Robert (Beverly), Mary Susan (Russ Duehr), Nancy Bussiere (Greg) and Thomas (Karen). Grandchildren: Robert, Michael, & Christopher Arends; Rhiannon Bach Eliasson & Stephen Bach; Josh & Lisa Wiebe; Scott & Matthew Willhaus; Beth & Andy Duehr; Rhys & Max Bussiere; Daniel, Shannon, & Andy Bach. Two great grandchildren: Callum Arends, Scarlett Eliasson. Also survived by brother James Huettl (Fran), sister-in-law Cathy Huettl, and many dear nieces and nephews. Harriette graduated from Loyola High School in Mankato, and attended the College of St. Theresa, Winona, MN. She married Robert E. Bach of Mapleton, MN in 1947. She earned the B.A. degree in 1980 in Library Science and Communication Studies from St. Catherine University, Saint Paul, MN. She was a research librarian in the Hennepin County Library system at the Edina and Southdale branches. Harriette was active in Christ the King Guild, Minneapolis League of Catholic Women, the Edina Art Center and the Church of Saint Patrick's Edina parish for 50 years. She lived a long and healthy life with great enthusiasm and love, and was cherished by all who knew her. Memorials preferred to St. Catherine University, Saint Paul, MN or Good Counsel Convent, Mankato, MN. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Patrick, Valley View at Gleason Road, Edina. Private interment Calvary Cemetery, Mankato, MN.
