Nelson, Steven, DDS Passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the age of 67 following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Barbara. He is mourned by his wife Janet, nieces Sarah Fahnhorst (Peter) and Anne Wogen (Jeff), foster son Ken, and many dear friends. Steve had a quick wit and a passion for life with many interests he shared with family and friends. His caring spirit and passion for helping people was reflected in his profession as well. Steve practiced for 30 years at NorthPoint Heathcare Center in Minneapolis, serving as a dentist, mentor, and department leader. Upon retirement, he worked at the U of M Dental School as an adjunct professor supervising students. A service honoring Steve's life will take place at 2 pm Sunday, April 27 at the home of David Swenson, 1276 Palace Ave in St. Paul.
