Smith, Carol L. (Johnson) Born Aug. 15, 1931 in Cokato, MN and passed peacefully on April 21, 2014. She was a longtime resident of St. Louis Park. Carol, along with her husband Milton, were known for their volunteer efforts with the VFW, The Elks and Cooties. Carol worked for Preferred Travel of Hopkins until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Milton P. Smith; parents, Arnold & Clara Johnson; brother, Kenneth Johnson and sister, Mardell Goemer. Carol is survived by sister- in-law, Mary Ann; brother-in-law, Henry; also nieces, nephews and many friends. Memorial service will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, April 29 with visitation one hour prior to service at Washburn-McReavy Hopkins Chapel. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
