Betty Jean Kommerstad

Kommerstad, Betty Jean age 89, of Minneapolis. Passed away in the early morning of Good Friday, April 18, 2014. Betty was a graduate of McPhail School of Music, and taught piano for many years. She was retired from Northwestern Bell. She was a dedicated member of Bethel’s Rock Church. Preceded in death by parents, Walvin and Irene Kommerstad; brother, Winston "Sonny Boy" Kommerstad; sisters, Ferne Holmes and June Holbrook; nephew, David Holmes; and dear friend, Ethel Smith. Betty is survived by nieces, Roberta Sonnesyn and Jeanne Fagerberg; nephew, James Holbrook; and other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Bethel's Rock Church.
