Monica Mary Loye

Loye, Monica Mary (Masek) July 5, 1963 - March 31, 2014. Born in Lincoln, NE. Preceded in death by her parents, Anton & Agnes A. Masek and brother, Jerome Masek. Survived by husband of 28 years, Jim; children, Michelle, Victor, and Marie; sisters, JoAnn Masek, Agnes M. Masek, and Theresa (Mike) Scott; brothers, William (Lucy) Masek & Anthony (Linda) Masek; sister-in-law, Kathy (Gary) Holmes; as well as Loye in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Fought her battle with breast cancer with incredible strength, courage, and humor, hoping others could learn and benefit from her experiences. Supported in many ways by so many, especially the communities at Our Lady of Peace Parish and School, DeLaSalle High School, and her friends at the City of Bloomington. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 OUR LADY OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5435 11th Avenue S., Minneapolis followed by reception. Visitation 5-8 PM Friday, April 4, 2014 at the THOMSON-DOUGHERTY MANSION 2535 Park Avenue, Minneapolis, with 7 PM Rosary. Private family interment.
