Genie Carol Caldwell

Caldwell, Genie Carol age 49 of Robbinsdale. Genie and her beloved husband Jeffrey John Howard died unexpectedly on March 11, 2014 in their home in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Genie was born in Moberly, Missouri on May 12, 1964, where her father was pastor of the local Presbyterian church. Throughout her childhood, her father's ministry took the family to many locations. Genie graduated from Duluth East High School and attended the University of Tulsa. She worked hard, no matter what the task. Genie was passionate and generous, artistically gifted, determined, loving, kind and occasionally obstinate. She brought joy to all she encountered. Genie is survived, loved and remembered by her Mom, Rachel Caldwell, of Soso, Mississippi; her two sisters Beth Caldwell and Cathy LaPoint (Art) and their families, of Eden Prairie; three stepsons, John, Matthew, and Drew Howard of Big Lake; and a host of loving living relatives. She was preceded in death by her dad, the Rev. Dr. David Caldwell. Genie Carol is dearly missed. Funeral services for Jeff and Genie will be held at Valley Community Presbyterian Church in Golden Valley on Monday, March 17 at 11 am, with visitation beginning at 10.
