Camp, Wayne L. Age 82 formerly of Savage, MN died January 7, 2014 in Venice, FL after a short bout with cancer. Son of Argus and Lorena Camp he was born in Hot Springs, MT, grew up in the Canby area of Oregon. He enlisted in the Air Force at 17 and was based in Japan during the Korean War. After his military service he married his high school sweetheart, Winona H. Roth. They remained happily married for 57 years until her death in 2012. After numerous moves early in their married life, they settled down in the Burnsville/Savage area of MN and spent their winters after retirement in Apache Junction, AZ until their 2011 move to Venice. Wayne spent his career in aviation retiring as a pilot from Northwest Airlines in 1991 after 32 years of service. He is survived by his daughters, Debbie (John) Luce of Venice, FL, Jeanne (Terry) Lewis of Lexington, KY, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Wayne & Winona had many friends and family spread across the country. A memorial service will be held July 19, 2014 at 11 am at Calvary Mennonite Church in Aurora, OR. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
