Michael M. Roan

Roan, Michael Mills January 18, 1938 - January 8, 2014 Preceded in death by parents, Chester Roan, Ann Mills Roan and a baby brother. A graduate of the University of Minnesota and Luther Seminary he was a founder in 1989 of the annual Nobel Peace Prize Forum. In 1986 he founded the Tandem Project whose goal is to eliminate all forms of intolerance and discrimination based on religion and belief - working with the U.N. in New York and Geneva and traveling to many nations to further this mission. Gifts may be made to the Michael Roan Fellowship, Human Rights Center, University of Minnesota Law School. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Augsburg College in the Christiansen Center.
