Hengemuhle, Henry E. age 89 of Robbinsdale. Born in Warwick, N.D. and a former resident of Long Prairie, Minn., Henry proudly served in the US Navy on the USS Pyro (AE-1), an ammunition ship, in the South Pacific during WWII. He performed layout work and welding for FMC, Fridley for 31 years. Henry loved the outdoors and was an avid and skilled hunter and fisherman who never missed an opening day. He is survived by wife of 64 years, Betty; children, Carol Hengemuhle, Ann (Craig) Zemke and Paul Hengemuhle; granddaughters, Karyn and Kelsey. Preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 A.M. at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 41st Ave. N. and Hubbard Ave. N., Robbinsdale. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass in the gathering space of the church. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at the VA Medical Center, The Villa of St. Louis Park and AseraCare Hospice.
