Crow, Gary Stephen age 78, of Edina, Minnesota and Sun Lakes, Arizona went to be with our Lord and Savior May 5, 2016 at home in Arizona after a long and valiant fight with Multiple Sclerosis. Gary was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to F. Richard and Mary Crow. Gary grew up going to schools in Minneapolis, Winnipeg, and Milwaukee. He was a graduate of the University of Minnesota's School of Electrical Engineering and a member of the Triangle Fraternity. Gary married Gayle Hansen in 1961. In Gary's younger years he was an avid Ham radio operator which led to a long career in electronics. He was a long term employee of Control Data Corporation; he retired from QLogic in 2000. His participation in the computer industry spanned 4 decades, during the rapid growth of the computer industry, where his early focus on hardware and software development was later followed by product sales and marketing. Gary had a brilliant mind; his quick wit and insightful comments will be missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years Gayle, his son Gregory and his daughter Gretchen; and sisters Lois Truwe (Curt) of Wayzata, MN; Marilyn Emerson of Eden Prairie, MN; and brothers Richard Crow (Bonnie) of Elk River, MN, and Michael Crow (Sandra) of Mora, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass 11:00 am Tuesday, June 7th with visitation beginning at 10:00 am at The Church of St. Patrick, Valley View at Gleason Rd, Edina. Burial will be in Lake City, MN on June 8th, 2016.
