LaVae (Kohlrusch) Arens

Arens, LaVae (Kohlrusch) 1938 - 2013 LaVae died June 28, 2013, surrounded by family at our home in St. Paul, MN after a 4-year battle with Multiple Myeloma (blood) Cancer. An open house celebration of life for this most wonderful friend, wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, grandmother-in-law, sister, sister- in-law, aunt, cousin and foster mother will be July 7, 2013 1-5 pm at her home and garden – 1262 Nebraska Ave. E. St. Paul, MN 55106 – catered. Burial will be private at a later date. Memorials of choice. We thank the marvelous people of Allina in-home hospice care and the Cremation Society of Minnesota. LaVae was born December 9, 1938 on a farm near Ruthton, MN and graduated from Pipestone, MN High School in 1956. She married Robert Arens February 6, 1958 at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis, MN. She is survived by her husband, three sons; Rhett (Veronica) Arens of Stillwater, MN, Brynn (Susan) Arens of Minneapolis, MN, Kii Arens of Los Angeles, CA, and one daughter, Aarah (Criag) Aizman of St. Louis Park, MN, a brother, Jay Kohlrusch of Shakopee, MN a sister; Nathly Brendsel of Arvada, CO and eight grandchildren; Colin Arens of Los Angeles, CA and Mitchell Arens of Stillwater, MN, Tanner, Daisy-LaVae and Felix Arens of Minneapolis, MN, Ian and Chana Aizman of St. Louis Park, MN and Shaena (Avi) Lang of St. Louis Park, We were blessed bLaVae making life beautiful wherever she went. Heaven will be a prettier place by the time we get there.
