Wallin, Charles Leroy Jr. age 69, of Menahga, died May 18, 2016 at his home from a heart attack. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend. His memory will live on in the stories he told so often with great humor and wit. Chip was a carpenter for decades before changing careers to his second passion of cooking. He was a chef in Bloomington feeding children their daily dose of love and laughter. Chuck and his wife, Barbara, retired "Up North" from their long time home of Minneapolis. He became an active member of his local church and new community. We take comfort in knowing he and Barb have been reunited. Charles is survived by daughters Leah and Lynne (Matthew) Amerson; grandchildren, Beatrice and Charles; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial Service Christ the King, Minneapolis, June 11 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Charles' memory to the Nevis Lions Club, PO Box 74, Nevis, MN 56462.
