Nevers, Marty Local musician and novelist Marty Nevers (Martin Michael Neveroski) died June 25th, 2012 in Mesa, Arizona. Marty was born in Michigan City, Indiana on November 15th, 1923 and moved to Minneapolis in the 50s. Marty became part of the very popular comedy team called Frazer and Nevers. They performed throughout the 50s and 60s at Mr. Nibs and Tempo Bar. In 1969 Marty joined with Carla Elliott and entertained both in the Twin Cities in the summer and Mesa, Arizona in the winter. During his long career, he wrote and recorded over 40 songs available on 3 CDs. He loved to make people laugh and play music. He also published a novel titled "Mystery of Ma's Ugly Pickle" (ISBN_ 9780983750611). He is loved and remembered by his wife, Carla; his children, Dianne, Dan (Laurie), and Dawn; his grandchildren, Theodore, Renae, Andrew and Madeline, and his great-grandson, Thomas.
