Murphy, LaLonne Lou Born March 13, 1948 to Betty and Allen Patrick Murphy in Willmar, MN. She is preceded in death by her father, Allen Patrick, husband, Robert Burkhardt, cousin, Peter Schmitz, her step-son, Jeff Burkhardt, step-son-in-law, Terry Ellis, and her grandparents, aunts and uncles, forming a Great Cloud of Witnesses. Survived by her dear friend, Shari Steffen of Eden Prairie, MN; mother, Betty Murphy, formerly of Willmar now of Bloomington, MN, siblings Mark Murphy of Houston, TX, Debby (Warren) Templin of Palmer, Alaska, Michele (Bill) Dougherty, Minneapolis, MN; her nieces and nephews: Brianna (Steve) Holland, Ruahkaka, New Zealand; Jacob (Claire) Templin, Michigan; Caitlin Templin, Palmer, AK; Andy Wong (friend LaDonna), Minneapolis, MN, Cory (Pam) Wong. Her grand nephew and nieces, Steve, Sophie, Claire, Ellie and Nora. On June 2, 1990, Lonne Married Bob Burkhardt of Minneapolis and they enjoyed over 13 years of marriage. She is survived by her Burkhardt family: Sandy Ellis, Bloomington, MN; Tim (Kathy) Burkhardt, Hinckley, MN; Kris Burkhardt, Bloomington, MN; and Lizbeth Burkhardt, Colorado. Her step-grandchildren: Taryn (Nate) Merda, Richfield, MN, Ryan (Jacquie) Ellis, Minneapolis, MN; Andy (Heidi) Burkhardt, Michigan: Peter Burkhardt, Hinckley, MN; Christopher (Tosha) Torgerson, Prior Lake, MN; Rob (Kelly) Torgerson, Bloomington, MN; Esabella Burkhardt, Colorado; and her step-great grandchildren, Emelyn, Mason, Aleck, Hayley, Laney, and Miss Scarlett. Her intellectual pursuits included a BA in Music Education K-12 in 1972 at St. Catherine University; MA in Theology with Emphasis on Spirituality, 1996, St. Catherine University; Spiritual Director Certification, The Cenacle of Wayzata, 1977; Mastery Level Bioenergy Healer, Rukha Academy, Eden Prairie, 2012. For 41 years she worked in parishes throughout the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of St. Paul/Minneapolis. She spent her years at St. Peter's in Richfield, Incarnation Church in South Minneapolis, St. Bart's in Wayzata, St. Edward's in Bloomington, and Pax Christi Catholic Community in Eden Prairie. Most of her ministry was as Director of Worship and Music. She loved her life and the people she met along the way. Wake: Friday, May 6, 5-7 p.m.; Gathering: Saturday, May 7, 9-10 a.m.; Funeral: Saturday, May 7, 10 a.m., lunch to follow service at Pax Christi Catholic Community, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN 55347.
