Calva, Jaime Benjamin of Edina, MN. Born July 29, 1930 and died unexpectedly March 15, 2016. Survived by the love of his entire life, the fairest of the garden flowers, his Rosemary Lindquist Calva; his daughters Catherine (George), Cory (Brad), and Karen (Lynn), Mary Olson; his sons Keith (Lee), and J. Brian (Renae); brother Ruben and sisters Florence, Carmen, and Paquita; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 god-children and countless nieces and nephews. Jaime touched so many lives in so many ways it is difficult to fully appreciate his impact. As we prepare for this Saturday's memorial service, we see his reach was a loving web that covered the continent from coast to coast and throughout the United States to Mexico. He was a celebrity to many who met him, a friend to those who worked with him, an extraordinary husband, father, and patriarch to his family. His shoes cannot be filled but are displayed forever for us all to measure up to. Services will be held on Saturday, March 19 at Church of Saint Patrick at 6820 Saint Patrick's Ln, Edina, MN 55439. 10:00 AM visitation, 11:00 AM Funeral. Luncheon to follow.
