Sullivan, Roland D. 96, of Vadnais Heights, passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2016. Born on October 4, 1919 in Calumet, MI to Ursula and David Sullivan. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, LeAnn; children, Ruthie (Rick) Seidenkranz, Mike (Amy) Sullivan, and Julie (Jim) Meinen; grandchildren, Laura and Jeff Seidenkranz, Mick, Sheila and Jack Sullivan, Will and Catie Meinen and sister Lorraine Maki and brother Paul Sullivan and brother-in-law Jim Martin (Renee) and many nieces and nephews. Rollie proudly served in WWII, stationed in England, North Africa and Italy and was called back to serve in the Korean War until February 1952. Rollie received his BBA from the University of Minnesota in 1947 and his MBA in 1949. He worked at First Bank Systems (U.S. Bank) for 45 years until 1983. He was an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota during the 60's and 70's and then taught business management at St. John's University from 1983-1990 as the John and Elizabeth Myers Endowed Chair in Management. Rollie so enjoyed helping students find internships and connecting them with his business contacts for future careers. He touched many lives in his years at St. John's. He served on the Board of Fiserv, Milwaukee for 17 years and ran the Sendero Division in AZ from 1991-1997 and the Midwest Division 1997-1998. When Rollie finally retired, he enjoyed playing tennis and golf as long as he could at his beloved North Oaks Golf Club. He also loved cheering on his grandkids in all their activities. Visitation 10:00 a.m. with Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Incarnation Lutheran Church, 4880 Hodgson Road, Shoreview.
