Aarstad, John E. age 53, of Shakopee, passed away March 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. John was born in St Louis Park, Minnesota on February 15, 1963, the son of Edwin and Florene (Lemke) Aarstad. Preceding John in death was his father, Edwin. He is survived by his mother, Florene Aarstad; sister, Susan (Kevin) Hargreaves; loving children, Jeremiah (Andrea); Amanda (Cameron) Dake; Elizabeth and Spencer; grandchildren, Savannah and Miah; best friend, Laura Aarstad; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. John was employed at Dri-Steem as a welder. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and gardening.
