Cavanagh, William P. Age 52 of Edina, passed away Feb. 27, 2016. Devoted father, son, brother, friend, and entrepreneur, Bill loved traveling, golf, boating, and meeting people everywhere. Bill graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Carleton College with degrees in Political Science and International Relations and earned an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management. A voracious reader and film buff, Bill loved debating many topics. His proudest achievements were his 3 beautiful children: Anne, Elisabeth and Matt. He loved being with and watching them do anything. We will miss his great intelligence, creativity, inquisitiveness, laughter, and love of life. Survived by children Anne, Elisabeth, Matt and Mocha (dog), parents Bill and Phyllis Cavanagh, siblings Mary Cavanagh, Jeanne Cavanagh, John Cavanagh, Molly Oeffling (Kary), many friends and relatives. Preceded in death by grandparents William and Marie Cavanagh, Stanley and Ruth Featherstone. Funeral 2 PM Friday at the Church of St. Olaf, 215 S. 8th St., Mpls. Visitation Thursday 5-8 PM with Sharing of Memories 7-7:30 PM at Gearty-Delmore Ply-mouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave N. @ Vicksburg Lane and Friday at St. Olaf one hour before service.
