Richard Vernon Pearson

Pearson, Richard Vernon Age 80, of Coon Rapids, MN, passed away on January 6, 2016 at J.A. Wedum Hospice Care Center after a valiant battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was preceded by parents, Emil and Sylvia Pearson (nee Berger); and sister, Barbara Johnson. He is survived by daughters, Rhonda, Mona (Paul) Barstad, Becky; son, Bruce (Robyn); grandchildren, Brigit, Claire, and Shawn; brothers, Ronald, Dennis, Bob (Bonnie); sister, Carol (Don) Jerde. Richard was a lifetime member of Bricklayers Union Local 1 MN. He was a bricklayer and a stone mason. He was also a brilliant Lath Artist. Richard served a tour of duty in Korea starting in 1952 as a heavy equipment operator. His work on earth is done. Our hearts are heavy, but we are glad that he suffers no more.
