Hatz, Robert R. Much beloved father, grandfather, friend, neighbor died peacefully on Jan. 1, 2016 at the age of 85. Formerly of Edina, Robert was living in his hometown of Glencoe, MN for the past several years. He was a well respected financial planner and was retired from the Air National Guard. Robert was an Air Force veteran and proud CAF member who travelled to many air shows. Those who knew him were blessed by his sharp wit and unique sense of humor, which he maintained to the end. He was a good one, and was so loved. Robert was preceded in death by, wife, Cynthia; son James Hatz; parents Elda and Henry Hatz and brother Donald Hatz. Survived by daughter, Mary (Michael) Martinez and grandchildren, Emelia, Anthony and Remy.
