Zieper, Mary Angela age 83, of Eden Prairie, MN, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Dec. 17, 2015. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Robert H. Zieper; children: JoEllen (Michael) Gohr of Columbus, OH; Lynn (Michael) Howard of Portland, OR; Jeanne (Simon) Root of Eden Prairie, MN; MaryLee (John) Cornwell of Woodbury, MN; Robert F. Zieper of Eagan, MN; James Zieper of Denver, CO; Todd (Traci) Zieper of Apple Valley, MN; 20 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Mary was born Feb. 3, 1932, in Stevens Point, WI. She married Bob Zieper in 1951 and after Bob returned from duty in Korea with the U.S. Army they moved to Minneapolis, where he worked in advertising. Together they raised seven children and were active in their local parish. Mary volunteered at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Edina, and at Pax Christi Catholic Community in Eden Prairie. Over the years, Mary and Bob enjoyed visiting family and traveling to Mexico and California. We will miss "Mimi" every day, especially during the holidays, but we take comfort in knowing that she is resting in the arms of our Savior in Heaven. Memorial Service is Sat., Jan. 2. Visitation 10 a.m., Mass celebrating Mary's life 11 a.m., followed by luncheon, at Pax Christi Catholic Community, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, MN.
