I.E. "Gene" Phelps

Phelps, I.E. "Gene" age 83, of Wayzata, Minnesota and Midway, Kentucky passed away surrounded by his children, on December 9, 2015 in Lexington, Kentucky after a long battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. A private burial will be held at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis and there will be no funeral service. Those who loved him, please join us for a Gathering of Friends and Family on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 2-4 pm - The Woman's Club of Minneapolis - 410 Oak Grove Street, Minneapolis 55403. Gene leaves behind his children: Kimberly "Lily" Phelps; Ike Phelps and wife, Theresa; Traci Traut and Kelly VanRiper; beloved family and friends; his horses and his little dog, Linus.
