Roger W. Hoel

Hoel, Roger W. Age 75 of Plymouth, MN, passed away on Aug 15, 2008. Graduate of Univ. of MN and member of U of M swim team. Minneapolis secondary school teacher & swim coach for 34 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hans & Margaret; son, Gregory. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol; children, Steven, Lisa (Scott) Kersting; granddaughter, Emily; siblings, Elaine (Gary) Sampson, David (Doris), Richard; many relatives and friends. Music was one of his passions and he enjoyed singing and traveling with the Minnetonka Symphony Chorus. His basic goodness and passion for living deeply affected those who knew and loved him. Memorials directed to American Cancer Society or of donor's choice. Private services and interment.
