Steven Julius Anderson

Anderson, Steven Julius 49, devoted husband, father, son and papa, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 22, 2008. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 28, at 1:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 500 West 3rd Street, Northfield, MN. Steven was born in Warren, MN, on May 8, 1958, and was raised in Hallock, MN, where he graduated from high school in 1976. Steven married Pamela Jean Syverson on November 12, 1977 and graduated from NDSU with a degree in architecture. Steven had a life-long passion for golf and was an avid MN Vikings fan. He was well known for his great sense of humor and his greatest pleasure in recent years came from playing with his beloved grandchildren. Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents and sister, Tammy. He is survived by his parents, Lowell and LaVonne Anderson; wife, Pamela; three daughters, Nicole (John) Eells, Rachel Anderson, Sara Anderson; grandchildren, RoseLin, Luther and Noah; brothers, Chris Anderson, Peter (Rochelle) Anderson, Andy (Lynn) Anderson, and sister, Angie (Dominic) Gallagher; as well as nine nieces and nephews. The family prefers cash memorial gifts in lieu of flowers, which may be sent to 322 8th Street NW, Faribault, MN 55021.
