O'Connell, Timothy James April 5, 1952 - October 12, 2015 63, of Woodbury, died peacefully surrounded by family on October 12. The son of Thomas and Claire O'Connell, Tim attended Edina High School and Georgetown University. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a BA in Accounting. Tim last worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. An avid reader of classic literature, religion, philosophy, history and politics, Tim enjoyed good conversation, walking, listening to music and his favorite radio shows, and tending his beautiful garden. Tim was a thoughtful, generous and kind person with an intellect and sense of humor everyone enjoyed. He adored his nieces and nephews whose art work was always proudly displayed on his refrigerator. He is survived by his partner, James Ingli, mother Claire, siblings Thomas (Janice), Brian (Patricia), Daniel (Lisa), Kathleen Sereda (Gorden), Karen Wheaton (Christopher), and Jake (Lea) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas C. O'Connell. Memorials are requested to Union Gospel Mission, 77 East 9th Street, St. Paul, MN 55101. Private Interment.
