Ellen Theoline (Sanner) Carlson

Carlson, Ellen Theoline (Sanner) of Plymouth, passed away at home on July 26, 2007. Preceded in death by husband, Arthur M. Carlson; daughter, Cynthia Ellen Carlson; sisters, Gladys Axelson, Donna Hams, and Verna Wollin. Ellen was born on December 31, 1919 in rural northwestern Minnesota where she spent her childhood and young adult years. In 1950 she and her husband Arthur moved to Minneapolis to begin their married life. Ellen was a Special Education teacher in the Robbinsdale School District for 23 years and retired in 1984. She was a member of Elim Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale for almost 53 years. Ellen is survived by her daughter, Debbie Carlson of Eden Prairie; son, Terry (Jeanne) Carlson of Plymouth; grandchildren, Angela (Ryan) Antony, Jacob Carlson, and Joshua Carlson. Funeral Service Monday 10:30 AM at Elim Lutheran Church, 3978 West Broadway, Robbinsdale. Visitation Sunday 4-7 PM at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 West Broadway, and at church one hour prior to service. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Hallock, MN.
