Niesen, Kenneth Alan of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, was tragically killed on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 at 58 years of age. Ken was born in Minneapolis on July 8, 1961.

Ken graduated from Park Center High School in 1979. He co-owned Bonded Transmission with his brother Korey, an institution on University Avenue in St. Paul that his father, Walt, started in 1983. Ken took pride in working with his father and brother for 36 years.

Ken was the most wonderful son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend to everyone he met. He was a dedicated family man who cherished spending time watching his boys drag race at the same tracks where he raced. Ken loved motorcycle runs with his wife in the summer and snowmobile weekends in the winter with his family and friends. Three words sum up Ken's life: family, friends, and motorsports.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Niesen, sons, Max and Wyatt Niesen, mother Marianne Niesen, sister Kelley Ollmann (husband Peter), brother Korey (wife Cari), nieces and nephews Lindsey Lindquist (husband Jimmy), Jessica Peters (husband Ian), Courtney Niesen, Alex Ollmann, Garrett Ollmann, Spencer Ollmann, Sammy Ollmann, and a host of loving in-laws, cousins, and longtime friends in the racing community. Ken was predeceased by his father Walter Niesen.

The family is moved by all the love and support they have received. A GoFundMe page has been established for the family.

A memorial service for Ken Niesen will be held Bootlegger's, 19735 Iguana St NW, Nowthen on February 1, 2020, from 2-6 p.m.
