John Allen Scott

Scott, John Allen age 87 passed away peacefully of natural causes in his apartment on January 5th 2020 in Victoria, MN. John went to be with his wife of 39 years Gloria Scott who preceded him in death on February 11, 1996. John loved art, painting, music and was an accomplished guitarist and piano player. He loved the outdoors and in his younger years he built a massive beautiful butterfly collection. John was a proud veteran of the USAF where he served as a medic during the Korean War period. He was born an only child on Christmas Day 1932 during the middle of the Great Depression to his proud parents Allan and May Scott, of Minneapolis MN. John was a graduate of the U of M and was a postal supervisor for his career after his stint in the Air Force. John was a member of Saint Victoria parish in Victoria MN. John is survived by his sons Michael, Gregory, and Jeffrey and their wives Jodi, Aimee, and Christine and his grandchildren and their spouses Amanda & Robert, Megan & Zach, Kaylie & Dennis, John & Danielle, Jarred, Austin and Collin. Great grandchildren Josh, Kennedy, Cathryn, Charlotte, Josiah, Prescott, Brody and Madeline. We are grateful to have been able to celebrate Johns 87th birthday this last Christmas shortly before his passing. He will surely be missed by those he left behind. Until we meet again dad.
