Way, Osmon "Ozzie" Gordon, Jr. of Saint Louis Park passed away on December 11, 2019. He was born in Claremont, Minnesota, in 1933 to Osmon Gordon Way, Sr., and Lydia (Krückeberg) Way.

He is preceded in death by his older sisters, Norma Way of Alameda, California, and Marjorie (Way) Lundquist of Janesville, Minnesota. Ozzie was married for nearly 60 years to Marjorie (Hellie) Way, who passed away in March 2017.

He is survived by his children: Osmon ("Chip") Way (Denver, CO); Kami Bandt (Shoreview, MN); and Cory Way (New York, NY). Ozzie and Marjorie cherished their grandchildren: Brooke Way (Denver, CO); Tyra Bandt (Minneapolis, MN); Carly Bandt (New York, NY); and Anders Bandt (Madison, WI).

After graduating as salutatorian from Claremont High School, Ozzie earned degrees from Hamline University and the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He also served in the U.S. Army, based in Hanau, Germany.

Ozzie proudly spent his career focused on international trade for the Green Giant Company, earning life-long friendships with diverse colleagues across the globe. Upon his retirement Ozzie was appointed by the Governor to serve on Minnesota's Export Finance Authority.

Ozzie's family is forever grateful to him for his unconditional and unwavering love and support. His life will be celebrated on January 11 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church. Visitation at 10am. Service at 11am followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mt. Olivet.
