Nancy Jane Atchison

Atchison, Nancy Jane died peacefully on October 22nd in Edina. She was 92 years old and had been in hospice care. She was a loving mom to Tom (Cindy Wold), David (Chris Crider), and Carol Hemingway. She was a wonderful grandma to Freya Hemingway, Noah Atchison, Rowan Hemingway, Abram Atchison, and Jaia Wilbour, and a good friend and supporter to many others. Nancy devoted much of her time and energy to efforts supporting a more just society. She was an active leader in her church and in her community, serving on the school board, the Human Relations Commission, and The League of Women Voters. She will be celebrated in a memorial service Sunday, December 1st, 2pm, at First Universalist Church, 3400 Dupont Av. S., Minneapolis.
